SHOW
A woman sitting on a park bench is surprised when an egg lands next to her. She places it on the branch of a tree and leaves. But, even more surprising, the egg follows her home, and crack! Out comes a baby raven calling her “mama.” She decides he shall be her raven child. It’s all going along very nicely until the little raven boy wants to go to school and make friends. The situation leads to a number of questions: Who am I? Why am I different from the other children? Why does it bother them so much?
PROJECT
The Mexican production Los cuervos no se peinan won the hearts of young and old at the 2014 Les Coups de Théâtre Festival. The French adaption L’enfant corbeau is a poetic examination of the necessary topics of difference, bullying and friendship: universal themes that know no boundaries. A moving tale full of love and tenderness.
Théâtre Bouches Décousues
Known for its unequivocal stance stating that youth theatre is an art form in its own right and that children are not just tomorrow’s audiences but a worthy public today, Théâtre Bouches Décousues is devoted to dramaturgical research and creation that shines a tender yet discerning light on the world of children.
Théâtre les gens d’en bas
The Théâtre du Bic / Théâtre les gens d’en bas produces popular theatre in the truest sense of the word, without restrictions as to period or provenance of the source materials. It prioritizes content that is politically or metaphysically resonant today.
